Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd. (BSPTCL) has invited bids for the construction of a 2x80 MVA, 132/33 kV Grid Substation (GSS) at Roh in Pakribarawan, Nawada district. The estimated project cost stands at ₹164.34 crore.
The scope of work includes the construction of two 132 kV GIS line bays at the existing GIS Narhat (BGCL) substation, along with associated transmission infrastructure. This involves a 132 kV double circuit (D/C) transmission line from GSS Roh to GIS Narhat covering 46 route kilometers (RKM), and another 132 kV D/C line from GSS Roh to GSS Warisaliganj spanning 22 RKM.
This initiative is part of Bihar’s broader push to modernize and expand its power transmission network, aiming to improve electricity supply reliability and regional connectivity.
The deadline for bid submissions is 25 July, 2025.
