ACME Solar Holdings has announced the commissioning of a 142.67 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan.
The project, which is part of a 481.49 MWh energy storage installation, has been connected to the operational Inter-State Transmission System, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The commissioned capacity represents Phase 1 of ACME Solar’s larger energy storage programme. The company said that, through its various subsidiaries, it has commissioned 142.67 MW / 481.49 MWh in the first phase, out of a total planned BESS capacity of 585 MW / 2,011.24 MWh.
