Adani Power has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (MSEDCL) for the supply of 1,600 MW of electricity under a long-term power procurement arrangement.
The award was granted through a competitive bidding process in which Adani Power emerged as the lowest-tariff bidder, quoting a combined tariff of ₹5.30 per kWh, the company said in a statement on Sunday.
Power supply under the proposed 25-year Power Supply Agreement (PSA) is expected to commence from FY31. The project also includes a pre-allocated coal linkage, which the company said will help ensure fuel security and enable a stable and cost-effective power supply.
