YEIDA Finalizes Land for Apparel Park Expansion

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to acquire the remaining 94 acres required for the Apparel Park project in Sector 29, aimed at expanding the region’s garment manufacturing capacity.

Of the 175 acres earmarked for the project, 81 acres have already been allotted, with construction work currently in progress. Once completed, the Apparel Park is expected to generate over 3,00,000 employment opportunities, with 70 percent of jobs reserved for women. The Park will integrate the entire apparel manufacturing value chain, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing production costs for exporters.

Strategically located near the Noida International Airport, the project has drawn strong interest from textile and garment manufacturers seeking improved logistics and global connectivity. YEIDA also plans to launch a new allotment scheme following the land acquisition and is prioritizing the development of key infrastructure, including roads, design studios, and testing laboratories.

With this project, the region—already a prominent garment manufacturing hub—is poised to further strengthen its position as a leading centre for the textile and apparel industry.
