Odisha Invites Bids for ₹553 Crore Kukedmal ISS Project

Odisha Construction Corporation has issued a tender worth ₹553.34 crore for the construction of an in-stream storage structure (ISS) at Kukedmal on the Tel River in Bolangir district.

The project includes a comprehensive scope of work, covering:

Survey, investigation, planning, design, and estimation of all components

Construction of hydro-mechanical systems, power and road connectivity, staff quarters

Operation and maintenance (O&M) for five years or five flood seasons, whichever is longer, after successful commissioning

With a completion timeline of 36 months (including rainy seasons), the ISS project aims to improve water resource management, flood moderation, and deliver long-term socio-economic benefits to the region.

Bid submission closes on 15 September 2025. Eligible bidders are invited to participate in this key infrastructure initiative.
