KCC Buildcon Clinches ₹343 Crore NH-39 Upgrade Project

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has declared KCC Buildcon as the lowest bidder (L1) for the balance work related to the rehabilitation and upgradation of the Sidhi–Singrauli Road in Madhya Pradesh.

The project entails widening the highway to a four-lane configuration with paved shoulders from Km 82/400 to Km 187/99 (design length of 105.59 km) on NH-39 (formerly NH-75E). The upgrade is aimed at enhancing connectivity, easing traffic movement, and improving safety along this key corridor.

The tender was floated under the item rate mode, with KCC Buildcon emerging as the L1 bidder at a quoted value of ₹343.20 crore.

Once completed, the project is expected to reduce travel time, strengthen road safety standards, and improve regional connectivity, benefiting both commuters and local industries. The upgraded stretch will also contribute to the efficiency of the national highway network and support infrastructure development goals outlined by MoRTH.
