Rithwik Projects Secures ₹14,445 Cr Dibang Dam Win

NHPC Ltd has declared Rithwik Projects Pvt. Ltd as the lowest bidder (L1) for the Lot-3 Main Dam contract of the Dibang Multipurpose Project in Arunachal Pradesh.

The contract, valued at ₹14,445.99 crore, involves the construction of the main dam, a coffer dam, and associated hydro-mechanical (HM) works, forming a critical component of the overall development of the Dibang Multipurpose Project. Leveraging its experience in executing large-scale infrastructure projects, Rithwik Projects will be responsible for carrying out the construction and allied works in compliance with stringent safety and quality standards.

Once completed, the project is expected to make a significant contribution to regional and national power generation capacity. In addition to hydroelectric power generation, the Dibang Multipurpose Project is designed to deliver multiple benefits, including flood moderation, irrigation support, and improved water supply for the region.
