New Milestone: EPI to Deliver ₹139 Cr TRENDS Facility at Vizag

Engineering Projects (India) Ltd (EPI) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the establishment of the Thermal Hydraulics Test Facility (TRENDS) at Visakhapatnam.

The contract, valued at ₹138.99 crore, will be executed under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode. The project, being undertaken by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), is a key initiative aimed at strengthening research and development capabilities in nuclear technology. The TRENDS facility will enable the simulation of various thermal-hydraulic conditions relevant to advanced nuclear reactors, thereby supporting national objectives related to nuclear safety and long-term energy sustainability.

Leveraging its experience in engineering and construction, EPI will be responsible for the complete design, procurement, and construction of the facility, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely project execution.
