RailTel Secures ₹94.23 Cr Mega-Order for Smart Surveillance

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from the Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli.

The scope of work includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system in LHB coaches, in accordance with Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) specifications. The contract also includes a three-year warranty period followed by a five-year comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC). The order is valued at approximately ₹94.23 crore and is scheduled for completion by January 28, 2034.

The project reinforces RailTel’s role in strengthening onboard security infrastructure across Indian Railways’ LHB coach fleet.
