The Tirupati district administration handed over land possession on February 11, 2026, for a new tourism project aimed at enhancing the region’s hospitality infrastructure.
The proposed resort, to be developed by Odisha-based Bengal Ultimate Resorts, will be spread across approximately 12.70 acres in Vadamalapeta mandal. The project will feature 149 rooms, including deluxe rooms, suites, cottages, and villas. Planned amenities include multiple dining facilities, banquet and conference halls, spa and wellness centres, as well as indoor and outdoor recreational spaces.
District Collector Dr. S. Venkateswar stated that Tirupati requires quality hospitality infrastructure to cater to the steadily increasing tourist footfall. He added that the project is expected to generate direct employment for around 250 people, with nearly 100 more benefiting indirectly.
Company representative Pradeepta Kumar Mohapatra welcomed the state’s investor-friendly tourism policies and confirmed that the resort would be completed within two years to international standards, in line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the investment summit in Visakhapatnam.
