The Telangana Government has sanctioned ₹121.92 crore for the construction of a high-level road bridge (HLRB) over the Krishna River, located downstream of the Priyadarshini Jurala Project. The bridge will connect Revulapally in Dharur Mandal (Jogulamba Gadwal District) with Nandimalla in Amarchinta Mandal (Wanaparthy District).
The administrative order (G.O.Rt.No.292) was officially issued by the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department on July 1, 2025. This long-anticipated infrastructure project has been widely welcomed across the Gadwal constituency, especially by farmers and residents who have long struggled with limited river connectivity. The new bridge is expected to significantly improve regional transportation, streamline agricultural logistics, and enhance local economic development.
Smt. Sarithamma, Congress In-Charge for the Gadwal constituency, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, and District In-Charge Minister Damodar Narasimha. She praised their prompt action, noting that the administrative approval followed a recent site inspection, reflecting the government’s responsiveness and commitment to the region’s development.
