SJVN Green Energy Ltd. (SGEL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has commenced commercial power supply of an additional 100.02 MW from its 1,000 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, effective June 30, 2025.
With this latest addition, the project has reached a total commercial capacity of 501.02 MW—crossing the halfway mark toward its full planned capacity. The remaining 498.98 MW is expected to be commissioned in the near future.
This large-scale project is a key part of SGEL’s strategy to support India’s renewable energy goals and national climate commitments. Once fully operational, the Bikaner solar project will significantly enhance clean energy generation in the region and further strengthen SGEL’s expanding green energy portfolio.
