SEML Powers Ahead with ₹110 Cr Sikkim Hydro Boost

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd. (SEML) has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2026, highlighting the strength of its integrated value chain amidst brief operational disruptions.

A key highlight of the quarter was a ₹110 crore one-time net benefit derived from the regulatory approval of the final project cost for SEML's 113 MW Sikkim Hydropower Plant. Since its founding in 1973, SEML has grown into a major energy and natural resources company, operating ~930 MW of thermal and hydro power, strategic iron ore and coal mines in Chhattisgarh, and production hubs in Raipur and Visakhapatnam. SEML remains committed to building a sustainable, future-ready "Energy-plus-Minerals Platform" through expanding clean energy, thermal, and mining capabilities.
