Powering AP: Fast-Tracking the BPCL Ramayapatnam Refinery

Emphasizing rapid industrial growth, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with BPCL CMD Sanjay Khanna to urge the swift execution of the multi-billion-dollar refinery project near Ramayapatnam Port. With 75 percent of the 6,000-acre site already secured and the remainder underway, the project is moving closer to construction.

Alongside producing clean Euro-6 fuels and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the administration is actively planning a dedicated downstream petrochemical park in partnership with APIIC. Engineers India Limited is currently putting the finishing touches on its cost-estimation study to officially kick off construction.
