Foundation Laid for ₹75-Crore Government Hospital in Bellahalli

North Bengaluru is poised for a major healthcare upgrade following a foundation-stone laying ceremony by Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda for a new 125-bed government hospital in Bellahalli, Yelahanka taluk. Valued at Rs 75 crore, the three-floor facility will initially offer a diverse range of specialized medical services, bridging a critical healthcare infrastructure gap for local working- and middle-class families. Designed with scalability in mind, the project includes future expansion plans to increase capacity up to 250 beds alongside a dedicated super-speciality block. This initiative is part of a broader regional healthcare push that also encompasses a planned facility in the Hebbal constituency.
