LC Infra Strikes Gold: ₹493 Cr Bhopal Water Project Awarded!

LC Infra Projects has been awarded a significant contract by the Municipal Corporation of Bhopal for the augmentation, renovation, and expansion of the city’s water supply system under the AMRUT 2.0 (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation) initiative. The project is valued at an estimated ₹493.48 crore.

The comprehensive scope of work includes survey, soil investigation, detailed design, and execution of various components aimed at enhancing Bhopal’s water infrastructure. Key elements of the project involve the construction of an intake well, a raw water pump house, and the installation of raw and clear water pumps. Additionally, the project includes setting up a 33 kV substation, a water treatment plant (WTP), elevated-level storage reservoirs (ELSRs), and ground-level storage reservoirs (GLSRs).

The contract also encompasses the provision, laying, jointing, testing, and commissioning of raw and clear water pumping mains, feeder mains, and a city-wide distribution network. These upgrades are designed to ensure efficient, sustainable, and equitable water distribution across Bhopal.

This project represents a major step forward in the government’s efforts to modernize urban water supply systems and improve quality of life for residents under the AMRUT 2.0 mission.
