Juniper Green Energy Delivers 146 MWp Solar Project, Fast!

Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy producer in India, has successfully commissioned a 145.99 MWp solar power project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra. The project will supply clean electricity to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL).

Commissioned on May 22, 2025, the project was completed 19 months ahead of schedule and just 2.5 months after the power purchase agreement was signed on March 7, 2025. It is now operating at full capacity.

CEO Ankush Malik attributed the early completion to strategic planning and execution, including early land acquisition, thorough due diligence, and timely development of grid and transmission infrastructure.

Juniper Green Energy specializes in utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable projects across India. The Chapalgaon plant marks a major step in advancing India’s clean energy goals and enhancing Maharashtra’s renewable energy infrastructure.
