GAIL Expansion Alert: New PMC Tender for JLPL Pipeline

GAIL (India) has floated a tender for the appointment of a project management consultant (PMC) for the capacity expansion of the Jamnagar–Loni pipeline project.

The contract will have a duration of 33 months from the date of the fax of acceptance (FoA). The scope of work includes commissioning and inertisation of the JLPL pipeline and its associated facilities, with commissioning targeted for completion within 30 months from the FoA. The remaining three months will be allocated for final contract closure and project closeout activities.

The expansion is intended to enhance the pipeline’s capacity and strengthen gas transportation infrastructure across the region.

The deadline for submission of bids has been set for 20 January 2026.
