Cementing Growth: Dalmia Bharat's Vision to Hit 130 MTPA by FY31

Dalmia Bharat Ltd has unveiled an ambitious expansion roadmap, aiming to scale up its cement production capacity from the current 49.5 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) in FY25 to 75 mtpa by FY28. The company's long-term vision targets a capacity of 110–130 mtpa by FY31, positioning it as a leading player in India’s cement sector.

Currently in the midst of its Phase-II expansion, the company is pursuing a balanced approach that combines planned organic growth with selective inorganic opportunities. While the core strategy is rooted in systematic capacity enhancement, Dalmia Bharat remains open to acquisitions that align with its growth objectives.

In the FY25 Annual Report, Managing Director Puneet Dalmia stated:

“Our Phase-II expansion strategy places us favourably on track to achieve our long-term target of 110–130 mtpa, further strengthening our position as a pan-India pure-play cement company.”

This strategic expansion reflects Dalmia Bharat’s commitment to meeting rising demand, expanding its national footprint, and enhancing its role in India’s infrastructure growth story.
