BEML Secures ₹185.65 Crore Defence Order for Advanced Bulldozers

Bharat Earth Movers Ltd (BEML), a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has secured a ₹185.65 crore order for the supply of 79 units of its flagship Power Angling & Tilting (PAT) Bulldozers.

The contract, awarded by the Ministry of Defence, marks a repeat order, following the successful and timely delivery of 66 units under a previous agreement. This latest order reflects the Ministry’s continued confidence in BEML’s manufacturing expertise and operational reliability.

Shantanu Roy, Chairman & Managing Director, BEML Ltd., stated:

“We are privileged to receive this repeat order from the Ministry of Defence, which reinforces the trust placed in BEML’s capabilities and execution excellence.”

BEML’s PAT Bulldozers are known for their six-directional movement—up, down, left, right, and forward/backward tilting—making them highly adaptable for grading, land clearing, slope work, and road construction, particularly in difficult and high-altitude terrains.

This order not only strengthens BEML’s contribution to critical infrastructure development and border operations but also supports the broader goal of self-reliance in defence manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
