The Andhra Pradesh government has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹51,000 crore in clean energy investments, marking a major milestone in the state's push towards renewable energy and green hydrogen development. The agreements were formalized during the Green Hydrogen Summit held at SRM University, Amaravati.
Key Agreements:
UK-based Yamna committed to a ₹16,000 crore investment to set up a 1 million tonnes per annum (mmtpa) green ammonia facility at Krishnapatnam.
JKSH Green Power and Hynfra will jointly invest ₹35,000 crore in a project at Machilipatnam, targeting production of 150 ktpa of green hydrogen and 600 ktpa of green ammonia.
These landmark investments reflect Andhra Pradesh’s strategic vision to become a clean energy hub, while also highlighting the state’s efforts to attract global investors and lead India’s transition to sustainable energy solutions.
