Game On, Hyderabad! DAZN Scores Big with New Global Tech Hub

DAZN, the UK-based global leader in live sports streaming, has officially launched its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, marking a strategic move to strengthen its global sports technology operations. The company aims to create 3,000 jobs by the end of 2026 as part of its long-term growth plan.

According to the Telangana government, DAZN will invest ₹500 crore in the Hyderabad facility over the next three years.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu emphasized the centre’s importance, stating:

“The GCC will drive next-generation sports technologies by scaling engineering and product innovation.”

He also highlighted DAZN’s plans to partner with academic institutions to enhance skilling and research in the sports tech sector, further reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a rising global tech hub.
