AM/NS India’s proposed greenfield integrated steel plant in Andhra Pradesh is set to become a significant driver of economic growth at both the state and national levels, according to CEO Dilip Oommen.
He noted that large steel projects tend to attract a wide network of ancillary industries, fostering a stronger industrial base while also supporting the development of the surrounding social and economic ecosystem.
The foundation stone for the project will be laid on March 23, 2026, at Rajayyapeta in Anakapalli district, marking one of the largest greenfield industrial investments in the state.
