250 MW FDRE: Juniper Green Cosmic Powers Up with NHPC

Juniper Green Cosmic, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC for the development of a 250 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project.

The agreement, signed on 28 June 2025, outlines that power supply will commence by June 2027. The project will integrate solar, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) technologies to ensure round-the-clock renewable power availability.

Electricity generated under this PPA will be supplied to the Haryana Power Purchase Centre (HPPC), serving both Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN).

"This agreement highlights our capability to execute complex renewable energy projects and supports India’s vision for reliable and sustainable power," said Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy.

Juniper Green currently operates approximately 1.45 GWp of renewable energy capacity across India.
