Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has issued a tender for a feasibility study to lay a cross-country LPG pipeline from Cherlapalli to Chandrapur via Warangal, and another spur from Cherlapalli to Ghatkesar. The project aims to meet the growing LPG demand linked to HPCL’s bottling plants.
The proposed 386 km (approx.) pipeline will start from the existing SV-34 Station on the HCPL network—located about 14 km before the HPCL Cherlapalli LPG Plant—and will connect to HPCL’s Warangal and Chandrapur LPG plants in Telangana and Maharashtra, respectively.
The scope of the study includes:
Cadastral and topographic surveys
Soil and field investigations
Assistance with land acquisition for ROU and station infrastructure (CP/SV/IP/TOP)
Securing approvals for land use, forest clearance, and pipeline crossings
Development and deployment of a GIS-based web application to manage ROU data
Bid Submission Deadline: 25 June, 2025
