PM Modi Delivers ₹ 1,140 Cr Gift to Ekta Nagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, on October 30–31 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for a series of infrastructure and development projects worth over ₹1,140 crore.

The initiatives aim to enhance connectivity, mobility, and tourism around the Statue of Unity. Key projects include the Birsa Munda Tribal University, the first phase of the Hospitality District, and the introduction of 25 electric buses with an e-charging depot. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Museum of Royal Kingdoms of India and launch several tourism-focused developments, such as the Veer Balak Udyan and jetty infrastructure.

These developments are designed to improve accessibility, promote sustainable mobility, and strengthen Ekta Nagar’s position as a major tourism and cultural destination. The visit will coincide with Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

According to PM Modi, “These projects will not only enhance the region’s infrastructure but also boost tourism and employment opportunities in the area.”
