Infosys has announced the expansion of its Mohali Development Centre, marked by a formal groundbreaking ceremony at the campus, further strengthening the company’s presence in North India.
As part of the expansion, Infosys will construct a new Software Development Block along with supporting infrastructure. The upcoming facility will have a built-up area of approximately 3.5 lakh square feet and is expected to accommodate around 3,000 employees. The expansion aims to enhance the company’s capacity to design, co-create, and deploy AI-led solutions at enterprise scale.
Currently, the Mohali centre employs nearly 1,000 professionals and delivers advanced digital services to global clients across sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), retail, and healthcare.
With the new development, the expanded campus will further strengthen Infosys’ capabilities in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, application development, and digital transformation. The company said the expansion will help it better meet the evolving needs of global clients and deliver AI-driven value at scale.
