Mega Water Works for Ujjain: Bids Invited for ₹673 Crore Project

The Urban Administration & Development Department (UADD), Madhya Pradesh, has floated a tender worth ₹673.82 crore for major water supply infrastructure works in Ujjain, in preparation for Simhasth 2028 — a major religious gathering expected to attract millions of devotees.

The project, scheduled for completion within 24 months, includes the laying of new pipelines, construction of overhead tanks, and installation of pumping stations across the city. These upgrades aim to ensure uninterrupted water supply for both residents and pilgrims during the event.

The deadline for bid submission is 23 May 2025.
