Kanpur’s ₹411 Crore Infra Boom: CM Yogi Launches 48 Mega Projects

In a major push toward urban transformation and regional connectivity, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched 48 key development initiatives totaling more than ₹411 crore in Kanpur Nagar.

The suite of projects includes significant road upgrades—notably the ₹159.35 crore four-laning of the Mandhana–Ganga Barrage–Shuklaganj–Mohanlalganj corridor and the widening of the Mandhana–Tikra–Hetpur–Dool–Bhaupur route. Additionally, fundamental utilities such as water supply, internal roads, and sewage treatment systems were inaugurated for the Defence Corridor in Saadh village.

Laying the groundwork for future urban growth, foundation stones were also placed for the New Kanpur City Yojana’s master-plan road, a new botanical garden, and Phase I of a model composite school in Khersa village.
