MIDC Gears Up for Mandangad Industrial Expansion

The Maharashtra government has fast-tracked the development of the proposed Mandangad Industrial Area in Ratnagiri by instructing the MIDC to accelerate land acquisition, infrastructure planning, and investor outreach. Led by Industries Minister Dr. Uday Samant, a high-level review meeting decided to expand the project's first phase from 100 acres to approximately 150 acres to foster a larger industrial ecosystem. Officials have been directed to prioritize contour surveys, land acquisition, and essential infrastructure planning, such as internal roads and water supply networks, to attract new investments to the region.
