Reliance Consumer Products Ltd. (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, will invest over ₹1,500 crore to set up an integrated food and beverage manufacturing facility in Katol, Nagpur, Maharashtra.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Government of Maharashtra ensures streamlined approvals, clearances, and access to state incentives. The facility is expected to commence operations by 2026, creating over 500 direct jobs, as noted by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
RCPL has seen rapid growth since its launch, surpassing ₹11,500 crore in revenue within three years, and is targeting a ₹1 lakh crore turnover within five years, backed by ambitious global expansion plans.
Speaking at Reliance’s recent AGM, Isha Ambani described RCPL as a key growth engine for the Group, with plans to expand into apparel, electronics, and other consumer categories. The company also announced a ₹40,000 crore investment to build Asia’s largest integrated food parks, leveraging AI, automation, and sustainable technologies to revolutionize food processing and distribution.
