Big Win in Pavagada: 250 MW Solar + BESS Awarded to Pace Digitek

Pace Digitek has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) for a large-scale renewable energy project at the Pavagada Solar Park in Karnataka.

The project comprises the development of a 250 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant integrated with a 250 MW / 1,100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). It will be located at Annadanapura and Reddyvarahalli villages in Tumakuru district. The integrated system is designed to improve grid stability and supply reliable peak power to Karnataka’s electricity network.

Awarded under Tranche I through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, the project is expected to be commissioned within 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The 25-year project will operate under an interim tariff of ₹5.51 per unit, as determined by the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC), and will also receive viability gap funding (VGF) support.

Following this award, Pace Digitek’s total order book has reached ₹102,428 million, strengthening its footprint in the renewable energy and telecom sectors.
