Sunsure Taps Suzlon for Maiden 105 MW Next-Gen Wind Project

Suzlon Energy has launched its next-generation S175 wind turbine platform with a maiden 105 MW order from Sunsure Energy. The project, set for Bijapur, Karnataka, will feature 21 turbines equipped with 175-meter rotors and 160-meter hybrid lattice towers optimized for lower-wind environments. This deal deepens the partnership between the two companies—bringing their total joint capacity to 400.8 MW over the last 14 months—and highlights Suzlon's ongoing role in scaling India's renewable energy infrastructure.
