Propylene Boost: Manali Petro Restarts Chennai Operations

Manali Petrochemicals has announced plans to resume operations at its Plant-1 facility in Manali, Chennai, following a fresh allocation of key raw material.

In a regulatory filing, the company said the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has assigned a fixed daily supply of propylene, to be provided by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL).

With the assurance of feedstock availability under the revised arrangement, the company will now initiate the process of restarting operations at the Manali plant, signaling a return to normal production activity.
