Petronet LNG has entered into a ₹1,200 crore regasification agreement with Performance Chemiserve, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation.
The 5.5-year contract, signed on July 10, covers the annual supply of approximately 25.6 TBTUs of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Petronet’s Dahej terminal in Gujarat, starting between May and July 2026 and continuing through December 31, 2031. The agreement also includes a provision for up to 20% revenue upside over the duration of the contract.
The LNG will be used to support Deepak Fertilisers’ manufacturing operations in Taloja, Maharashtra. Petronet, which handled 18 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG in FY25 across its Dahej and Kochi terminals, considers the Dahej facility one of the busiest regasification terminals globally.
This agreement aligns with Petronet’s strategic focus on strengthening long-term partnerships and optimizing capacity utilization across its infrastructure network.
