Aarti Industries Nets $150M Global Agrochemical Supply Win

Aarti Industries Limited (AIL), a leading global manufacturer of specialty chemicals, has entered into a multi-year supply agreement with a leading global agrochemical innovator for a key intermediate used in crop-protection formulations. The agreement extends the existing annual engagement through March 31, 2030, with a significant increase in supply volumes.

The contract is expected to generate approximately USD 150 million in revenue over the contract period, providing AIL with improved medium- to long-term revenue visibility.

Under the agreement, AIL will manufacture and supply the agrochemical intermediate through its integrated and scalable manufacturing platform, leveraging its strong process chemistry capabilities and global regulatory compliance framework. With adequate existing capacity, the company will be able to meet the higher demand without requiring additional capital expenditure. The intermediate will be used by the customer in the production and formulation of crop-protection products for global agricultural markets.

Commenting on the development, Suyog Kotecha, CEO of Aarti Industries, said the agreement reinforces the company’s position as a trusted partner to global agrochemical innovators. He highlighted AIL’s strengths in process chemistry, integrated manufacturing value chains, and its ability to deliver reliable and scalable supply solutions. The partnership is expected to strengthen long-term earnings visibility while supporting the continued expansion of AIL’s specialty chemicals portfolio through high-value collaborations.

The agreement also underscores India’s growing importance as a global hub for specialty chemicals manufacturing, supporting resilient supply chains, diversified sourcing, and risk mitigation for international customers. With strong process development capabilities and robust manufacturing infrastructure, AIL is well positioned to support the global agriculture ecosystem while expanding its presence in high-value, long-term specialty chemical supply chains.
