Maruti Suzuki India has officially commenced production at its fourth plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat!
This expansion brings the Hansalpur facility's annual capacity to 1 million units—a historic first for any single Suzuki manufacturing site worldwide. The new plant will produce the highly anticipated e VITARA, marking a critical leap forward in Maruti Suzuki’s electric mobility strategy.
Bringing Suzuki’s total Indian production capacity to 2.9 million units annually, this move sets the stage for even bigger goals: a target of 4 million units per year in the 2030s. Together, these developments continue to strengthen India’s position as a premier global hub for vehicle manufacturing.
