HAL Nashik's ₹343 Crore Runway Expansion Takes Flight!

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has issued a tender for the construction of a new runway and associated infrastructure parallel to the existing runway at its Aircraft Overhaul Division in Nashik, Maharashtra.

The project scope includes earthworks, pavement construction (including overrun areas and RESA), drainage systems, an electrical substation, cooling pit, plumbing and firefighting systems, perimeter and approach lighting, electrical installations, AGL and ILS systems, dismantling works, crash gates with access roads, and various other civil works.

The estimated project cost is ₹343.16 crore, with a completion timeline of 18 months.

The deadline for bid submission is 14 July 2025.
