Vizag Rising: The Push for a New Capgemini GCC

Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, has urged Aiman Ezzat to consider establishing a development centre and a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Visakhapatnam.

The appeal was made during a meeting held in Visakhapatnam, where the minister highlighted the city’s growing potential as a technology and innovation hub.

Lokesh also encouraged Capgemini to set up service centres in the cloud services and business process management (BPM) verticals.

Highlighting the city’s infrastructure growth, the minister said Visakhapatnam is emerging as a global data centre hub and will soon have a greenfield international airport, which will strengthen its global connectivity.
