VBJ’s High-Carat Ambition: Targeting ₹5,000 Crore by FY28

Chennai-based Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ) is gearing up for a significant growth phase, targeting ₹5,000 crore in revenue by FY2027–28.

The 125-year-old jewellery brand, which gained national prominence for crafting the Sengol (sceptre) installed in India’s new Parliament building, reported a topline of დაახლოებით ₹2,700 crore for the financial year ending March 2026.

Managing Partner Amarendran Vummidi said the company plans to achieve this growth by expanding its retail network. New outlets are slated to come up in key cities such as Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, and Hyderabad.

This expansion is expected to deepen VBJ’s presence across southern India and support the next stage of its growth journey.
