True Power Lights Up Barabanki with ₹100 Crore Solar Plant!

True Power Ltd has commenced construction of a state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing plant in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of ₹100 crore. The groundbreaking ceremony, led by Managing Director Hari Om Tiwari and Director Shiv Om Tiwari, marks a significant milestone in advancing India’s renewable energy goals and strengthening the regional economy.

The facility will have an annual production capacity of 1 GW, capable of manufacturing solar panels sufficient to power hundreds of thousands of homes. The project aligns with India’s clean energy mission and will play a key role in reducing dependence on fossil fuels.

In addition to its environmental impact, the plant is expected to generate hundreds of direct jobs in manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance, along with indirect employment across logistics, supply chains, and support services.

The upcoming 1 GW facility will also contribute significantly to Uttar Pradesh’s goal of achieving 20,000 MW of renewable energy capacity by 2027.
