TN to Launch Delta Industrial Corridor & R&D Hub

The Tamil Nadu government will develop a new industrial corridor and a dedicated research and development (R&D) centre in the state's Delta region, Industries Minister S. Keerthana announced at the CII Southern Region conference. Emphasizing a commitment to a transparent, corruption-free administration, Minister Keerthana highlighted the state's strategic shift toward future-ready sectors including electric mobility, clean energy, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing. To support these upcoming high-value investments, the government plans to map district-specific industrial potential and partner with local educational institutions to build a highly skilled, industry-ready workforce.
