The Next Chapter for Videotex: A Rs 1,000 Crore Vision

Videotex, a home-grown original design manufacturer (ODM) specializing in televisions, has set an ambitious goal to double its revenue to Rs 1,000 crore within the next four years. The company plans to achieve this growth by expanding its production capacity and diversifying into the rapidly growing home appliances sector.

Currently manufacturing products for over 20 Indian and international brands, Videotex aims to increase its annual production capacity from 2.2 million to 3.2 million units, as stated by Director Arjun Bajaj. With two manufacturing facilities in Greater Noida, Videotex is on track to close the current financial year with an estimated revenue of Rs 470 crore.

The company’s expansion strategy is being carried out in phases. Phase I successfully boosted production capacity to 2.2 million units, and Phase II will focus on enhancing its offerings of high-end LED solutions, including Mini LED TVs. With a legacy spanning 40 years in TV manufacturing, Videotex has continuously evolved with technological advancements, transitioning from CRT to LCD, LED, and OLED. Today, it stands as one of the leading ODMs in the television industry.
