Texmaco Wins Big: ₹122 Crore Deal to Power Western Railway

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd (TEXMACO) has secured a major contract worth ₹122.31 crore from Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC), as confirmed by a letter dated June 2, 2025. The scope of work includes the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of traction transformers and related systems for the Western Railway network.

The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months. This contract highlights Texmaco Rail & Engineering’s ongoing role in advancing India’s railway infrastructure and its specialized capabilities in railway electrification.
