Tender for ₹131 Crore Wastewater Treatment Plant in Odisha

The Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) has issued a tender for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant at the confluence of River Daya and Ganguanala, with an estimated project value of ₹131.67 crore.

Project Scope:

Construction Timeline: 24 months, Operation & Maintenance: 60 months post-construction

Objective: Improve regional water quality, manage sewage effectively, and promote environmental sustainability

WATCO is seeking experienced contractors with proven expertise in the design, construction, and long-term management of large-scale wastewater treatment facilities.

This initiative is part of the Odisha state government's broader commitment to sustainable urban water management, pollution reduction, and strengthening public health infrastructure. The project is expected to substantially enhance the ecological health of the rivers and align with the state’s environmental and sanitation goals.
