MOIL EOI: A Call for Innovation in Underground Mining

MOIL Limited, India’s leading producer of manganese ore, has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to engage a Mine Developer-cum-Operator (MDO) for the operation of its underground mines in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Mines Covered:

Madhya Pradesh: Ukwa and Balaghat, Maharashtra: Chikla, Munsar, and Gumgaon

The objective is to outsource mining operations to experienced private sector partners to ensure efficient extraction, production, and resource management, while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental standards.

This initiative is part of MOIL’s strategic effort to:

Boost productivity, Modernize underground mining operations, Leverage private sector efficiencies and innovation

EOI Submission Deadline: 30 September, 2025

Companies with demonstrated expertise in underground mining and proven operational capabilities are invited to submit their proposals within the stipulated timeline.
