SRM Contractors has secured a major EPC contract worth ₹482.99 crore from the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC) for the construction of the southern section (Package 6) of the Nashik Ring Road.
The project covers a stretch from design chainage 14.950 to 28.970, with a total length of 14.02 km. The scope includes comprehensive engineering, procurement, and construction activities for the development of the ring road corridor, aimed at enhancing regional connectivity and reducing traffic congestion in and around Nashik.
The project will be executed under the EPC model, ensuring end-to-end responsibility for design, execution, and quality compliance. With a stipulated completion period of 12 months from the appointed date, the project is set for fast-track implementation.
Once completed, the ring road is expected to significantly improve transportation efficiency, facilitate urban expansion, and strengthen road infrastructure in the region. The contract also reinforces SRM Contractors’ growing presence in large-scale highway and infrastructure development projects.
