Simplex Castings x BHEL: A ₹7.26 Crore Engineering Milestone

Simplex Castings Limited has secured an order worth ₹7.26 crore from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Varanasi, for the supply of critical fabricated and machined components, the company announced on Friday.

The order includes the supply of Mill Side and Liner Assembly for 803 HP Mills, Separator Body Assembly for 803 HP Mills, and Separator Top components. The project is scheduled to be completed within seven months from the date of the purchase order.

Commenting on the development, Ketan Shah, Promoter, Chairman, and Executive Director of Simplex Castings, said the order reflects BHEL’s continued confidence in the company’s manufacturing capabilities. He noted that the engagement strengthens the company’s long-standing relationship with BHEL and highlights its expertise in heavy fabrication and precision engineering.

Shah added that the company remains focused on delivering the order with consistent quality and just-in-time execution, viewing the contract as a stepping stone toward a deeper and long-term partnership. He also mentioned that Simplex Castings is currently in advanced discussions with several domestic and international clients, some of whom have recently visited its manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh, with the potential for significant future orders.

The order further reinforces Simplex Castings’ position as a trusted supplier of high-quality castings and heavy engineering components to leading public sector enterprises in India.
