Reliance Brands (RB) has entered into a strategic partnership with acclaimed British designer Stella McCartney to bring her sustainable luxury label to India.
Founded in 2001, Stella McCartney’s brand has been a global pioneer in ethical and environmentally responsible fashion, known for its steadfast commitment to excluding leather, feathers, fur, and exotic skins from all products. This collaboration will give Indian consumers access to the brand’s ready-to-wear collections, handcrafted vegan accessories, and footwear, through a multichannel distribution model.
With a presence in 47 global locations—including fashion capitals such as London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, and New York—and availability in 651 department stores and boutiques across 71 countries, the brand is set to make a significant impact in the Indian market.
Both partners have expressed strong enthusiasm for launching this "conscious luxury movement" in India, viewing it as an ideal market for sustainable, cruelty-free fashion and a growing demand for ethical consumerism.
