Prestige & BACL Join Forces for ₹1,800-Crore Mega Convention Centre

Prestige Group has partnered with Bangalore Airport City Ltd (BACL) to develop a 14.2-acre convention centre within the Bangalore Airport City precinct, further expanding the commercial ecosystem around the airport.

The project involves an investment of approximately ₹1,800 crore by Prestige Group, with construction expected to begin in 2027 and completion targeted for 2031. The development is designed to strengthen the airport city’s positioning as a mixed-use business and lifestyle hub.

The convention centre is expected to enhance Bengaluru’s capacity to host large-scale conferences, exhibitions, and business events, reinforcing its role as a global technology and innovation destination. It also aligns with the broader trend of airport-led urban development, where major airports are evolving into integrated districts featuring offices, hospitality, retail, entertainment, and corporate infrastructure.

With this project, Bangalore Airport City aims to differentiate itself through large-scale convention facilities, corporate campuses, and innovation-focused commercial zones, supporting the city’s growing demand for world-class event infrastructure.
